Welcome to Roydon Cricket Club's website.

Cricket has been played by teams from the village since the 1830's. The first match of which there is any evidence was an away game, Eleven Men of Hoddesdon vs. Eleven Men of Roydon in 1839. Although the club has never played league cricket, they were the inaugaral winners of the local precursor to T20 cricket - the Proudlock Cup in 1966.

We play every Sunday throughout the season plus a few Friday / Monday games. It is friendly and enjoyable cricket whilst remaining competitive. We have a strong social element to our club and always welcome new members.
